About the role
As a member of the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for running IT Infrastructure operations and making sure they run smoothly. On a daily basis, these are the sort of things you can expect to be doing:

  • Develop automation scripts, plugins and apps to monitor the availability and security of our platform.
  • Implement development infrastructures and software tools.
  • Application deployments, testing and building new automation systems.
  • Create system support documents and ops processes.
  • Maintain version management systems, build systems, release installation systems, and test systems related to engineering processes.
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization.
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Analyze the root cause of production errors.
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems.
  • Provide support for the Geoblink team, cloud computers, servers, technical devices, and the network so that everyone can do their jobs effectively.
  • Manage and maintain all software used by machines in our office.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for someone passionate about operative systems, cloud and security. If you are the type of engineer that is motivated to work in a fast-growing startup set to do big things… this is the right place for you!
We would love for you to have:

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role within the Software Engineering field.
  • Expertise in Linux troubleshooting, tuning, profiling and monitoring.
  • Good Cloud provider knowledge: Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding of technologies like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Ability and passion to learn, research and test new technologies
  • Great communication skills, both in Spanish and English.

It would be great if you have some experience programming and scripting languages like Python, Golang, Scala, Bash, Groovy…
